System Requirements

Overview

This document provides the system requirements for installing the Eenos high-performance hosting control panel.

Software Requirements

Eenos hosting panel currently supports the following operating systems. Eenos only supports server operating systems on LTS or Enterprise releases.

We recommend Ubuntu Server LTS Operating Systems

Operating System Version(s) Architecture
Ubuntu Server (LTS) 22.04 / 24.04 64-bit
Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 64-bit
RockyLinux 64-bit
AlmaLinux 9 64-bit
CloudLinux 9 64-bit

You can install Eenos on bare-metal servers, VPS/cloud servers, and dedicated servers running one of the above OSes.

We support the Operating system until the end of life (EOL) of the respective OS provided by the OS vendors.

Hardware Requirements

The following hardware configuration is required to install the Eenos hosting control panel. These requirements are just for installing the control panel. For a production server, you may need large enterprise-level hardware

Installation Type  CPU RAM Hard Disk
Default / Minimal  2 x  2.0 GHz 2 GB 4 GB
Full / Enterprise 4 x 3.0 GHz 4 GB 8 GB
Networking / IP Requirements

Your server must have internet access and a public IP address.

IPv4 Address: Your server needs at least one  IPv4 address to install and use the Eenos hosting control panel.

IPv6 Address:  Eenos supports IPv6 addresses. It is recommended to use an IPv6 address if available.

Eenos behind NAT / Private network

Eenos is not tested on NAT. We won't support servers behind a private network. Eenos is software for Internet servers.

You can use  Eenos behind a NAT/Private network. In such a situation, please place your IPs in the file /root/myips

You can add IPv4 and IPv6 IPs to the file /root/myips, line by line.

Enabling an IPv6 IP address will help mobile and tablet users connect easily to your server from mobile networks, increasing website visibility.
