Manage Email Routing
You can chosechoose your local server or a remote server as your email server. The local server is the same eenos server in which you are hosting the website. A remote server is the remote mail exchange server.

If you chosechoose to enable remote mail exchange server, make sure to edit the MX records of the domain dns settings and point to that removeremote server. Other wiseOtherwise, the emails may fail.
Mail Exchange Server
The server that runruns the SMTP / Email service for the desired domain. There are two types of mail exchange servers,
- Local , the same server itself
- Remote, a third party mail server like google, microsoft ,
etc,.etc.
Switch to Local
ToThis is to switch a domains remote mail server settings to local email server. So that this domain may use the current server as email server.
Switch to Remote
To use an external third party email server as SMTP server.
If you use Remote mail server , you can't manage any email accounts, forwarders , email pipspipes or distribution list for that domain from this server, because this server is not hosting any such email address.
